DUBOIS, Pa. (May 15, 2025) … Delanie Perry went 3-for-4 and drove in four runs to compliment the two-hit shutout from Sarah Wilkins as Southern Maine Community College defeated Florida National 10-0 for the 2025 USCAA Small College World Series Softball Championship at Heindl Field on Thursday.
The win for SMCC (32-7) is the first spring national title for the Seawolves and the Yankee Small College Conference.
The Seawolves jumped on the board first with a four-run third as Perry drove in a pair with a two-run single. Emily Hutchins drove in one with a single and Wilkins helped her own cause with an RBI single to take the 4-0 lead in the top of the third.
